OH MY WORD!!!!!! These should be on a calendar. Such cuteness!!!!

i had to take my first chick that hatched and put her in the brooder she was pecking the new chick in the eye and walking on her neck so i took her out but!!! i fill like she is lonely i hope this chick gets fluff fast lol cant wait to take her out of the incubator and in the brooder

Has anyone noticed if chicks that you hatch are more easily fond of you like if it has imprinted on you at all? Either way I make sure to hand feed so they are easier to handle as an adult and also it’s nice having chickens who like you. I was just wondering if they are more prone to immediately liking you than other chicks that are bought. I just feel like there will be a connection cause they are my first hatch and it’s just really cool. I can’t explain how excited I am.

this is also my first hatch and i could not wait to see that first pip and when i did i was so excited it is the best filling when you see your chick that you have spent weeks turning and waiting is about to hatch i did not see my first chick hatch-pippa but with pippa in the incubator it made my other egg really really want to hatch and she did not rest in the middle of zipping or any thing she just kept on zipping and it was sooooo! cool to see her push her way out of the egg know im just waiting for her to get all fluffy
