He's a Blue Front Amazon, we say he because we suspect it so. "Rooster" used to have a 150 word vocabulary & sing classic rock n roll tunes, until we gave him a mate that he loved & lost; when his friend came along, he suddenly had no use for us & would no longer talk to us. Except for one evening, a few years back, when we brought home a new Boxer puppy (7 years prior our other Boxer passed). We walked into the dimly lit house, put the puppy down to run around, & were startlled to here an errie voice say "hey Max." It still gives us chills to think back.
We used to breed parrots & tame legal imports (back when that was done) to distribute to a few nice pet stores. So we remember how nice the Yellow Napes are, beautiful & bright colored, lovely talkers with a large vocabulary & great singers.
I did a second candleing today, day 14 and all is looking good in 28 of the eggs! 2 look like they might be early quitters and three looked... off. The egg looks very dark like it is full of chick but the air cell was moving. Is it possible for these to hatch?
Finally Day 18, Lockdown! Have R.i.r, Leghorns And E.e. With A Few Suprise Eggs In My Bator. Candled Tonight And Culled 12 Out Of 42. Hey Henry, Where are the pics of your baby?? What have you got in the bator right now? I am waiting to see what you think of your Brinsea. I ordered the King Suro 20. It is in transit from Memphis, but the tracker says not to be delivered until Tuesday!!!
I was REALLY hoping for tomorrow, or at least Monday! Memphis is only 4 hours away!
