january hatch-a-long

Pics
It's a Janoel 12, I believe.
Have you figured out how to search on here yet? Do a search for "Janoel humidity" and read through the posts that come up in the search.
I am sure others have had this issure and maybe you'll come across something that will help you.
Normally I'd look for some posts for you but it's a school night and my bedtime.
I will do so in the morning if you need help still.

We have a hatch!

He is a little menace lol
He’s racing around and just pushing his way through the other eggs, he’s sleeping now though. The humidity is being insane now it was at about 60 right before he hatched and then hauled it’s way up to 85 after, I finally got it down to 65.

It's good that your chick hatched but in lockdown I don't add water unless the humidity is below 40 when the chicks hatch the humidity goes up on it's own. I've had humidity go up to 80 in lockdown just from chicks hatching.

As of now I have 4 chicks and two more hopefully hatching soon! It ended up going down to 37% during the night which scared me to death but I got it back up to 60 when I woke up. Every time one hatches it seems to go up to about 85%.
