January Hatch Buddies?

Had a bad scare last night. For whatever reason, my incubator went down to 95 degrees, then up to 103.3! It was at those temps for at least 20 min. I was almost sure this morning that they probably died, so just now I took them into my closet with my flashlight. They are still moving around like they always do. I just hope they turn out ok.
Maybe having a still-air saved my fuzzys butts........?

I'll be candling on the 3rd (15 BCM eggs hatching -hopefully- on the 14th)
I'm going this weekend to get a better flashlight.

that's mostly what i'm hatching (BCM). they're pretty dark eggs! hubby has a pretty powerful flashlight....so i used it to candle. i sure couldn't see as much as i did with the ameraucanas, but it was enough to show that there's growth. good luck!

I just picked up a Stanley spotlight at Lowe's today (day 8) and candled just one egg tonight when I got home.....and guess what - IT WAS ALIVE!!!!!!!!

I can hardly wait till day 10 when I candle all of them (this is my first hatching)...I feel like Dr. Frankenstein, but in a good way!

These are the most recent peepers... You can see the ones I'm talking about in the pics. There is also one silkie chick that is literally silver. What do u think he may become? All of my whites in any breed have always been yellow at hatching. This guy is literally silver.a lil darker on the head but not much. You can see him in the food bowl in the third pic.
