Actually they sound like a bunch of crickets low chirping.Remember I'm from the bayou,so this is a calming type noise...lol.For me anyway.They only stay inside a couple days then out to a huge brooder I have for them.They will be neighboring the 300+ from last week.I have a large order so the bators working it...lol.

I've just come in from chick-watching for the last 2 hours! My 3-day old chick is so happy and healthy, but lonely! I have 3 more eggs due this Wednesday, so hopefully it will have 3 buddies!

1 of 24 coturnix quail hatched as of 5:45 this morning! Other eggs pipped so wish me luck! I had to go to work, so I can have others hatch without the day taking forever.
