January Hatch Buddies?

I'm so glad everyone is hatching so many babies. I'm fixing to go hold some of mine. Time to reflect back on what i'm grateful for. Helped deliver twins today to a 14 year old how was raped.

This is our first Hatch ever, 43 eggs in our Little Giant inky... today marked day 21(for group 1), with LOTS of rockin' eggs!!! I was REALLY worried about the first group due to a temp spike the first night(105)... but there are 5 out of 11 that are steadily rocking.

We can't wait to greet our first hatchlings! They are pretty much guaranteed to be half breeds... but a few pure bred BLRWs & BGs might sneak in

vebyrd36- how very sad! Bless her and you.

So far this morning I awoke to 3 chicks hatched, yippee hooray! 2 more pips and the 1 egg that had pipped early yesterday zipped about half way and stopped, nothing since, I think it may have died. I don't see any movement or hear chirping from it, wonder why that happens? I hate that.

My official count for yesterday. 6 from the Buff/Red Sussex & 3 from the Coro/Light Sussex.

Up next.....9 Light Sussex, 35 OE's and some more C/L S and B/R S and last but not least 9 BBS Orps.
