Barred Rock - 3 eggs started (one was broken in transit so the PO handling is to BLAME) - ALL THREE seem to be doing well.

Thanks for the encouragement, tuper. I am still hoping...I keep imagining that I hear them tapping and peeping, but I can never be sure I heard anything...the mind plays tricks when you want something to happen so badly. I am thinking of leaving them in there until Sunday, which is 6 days past the date of the first expected pip.

We're on Day 10 and getting very nervous!

All the safety procedures I have in place only seem to make me more neurotic! For example: We've got two thermometers going, one on the side of the incubator which reads a bit high and one inside a bag of water which reads 90F. Figuring its somewhere in the middle. Trying to find a hygrometer that works well, it seems to run a bit low given how much water is in the water bowl under the turning eggs.

Im still in it I started with 20 candled at day 9 and now I have 10. The 10 duds were just eggs not fertile and now its day 13 for me so I just keep turning and turning and turning some more.
