O yay! because I couldn't contain myself & threw in 9 EE/EE into the bator & are due to hatch on Feb 17th

Nope. Just the one. After she dried off ovenight I peeked in this morning and she has double tufts...wwwooooohoooo!!! NNow I have to keep my fingers crossed that a tail doesn't grow and I will have my first tufted, rumpless Araucana after numerous hatches.

So sorry for your loss Roxanne. I had one like that with my very first hatch and he ended up dieing at about 4 months of age. We had named him Hoppy because of his bad leg.

Well day 21 with the silkies, I have 1 pipped shell so far!!!

Only thing I am a bit worried b/c it has pipped kind of in the middle of the egg on the side. Gonna wait a while to see what happens b/f I try to intervean. Tomorrow will be lockdown for 3 of the lav orp eggs too.

Well, I know I am late in posting, but I ended up with 7 beautiful little buff bantam cochins out of 11 viable eggs for my first hatch! The lone Lt. Brahma didn't hatch and upon "eggcropsy" looked like it gave up very early.

So, now I have turkey eggs, Ameraucana eggs, and more light brahma eggs cooking in the incubator.

Congrats everyone on their successful hatches - this is addicting!
