I candled my eggs from Ohioruss today also. Of the 5 that made it here one was cracked and started leaking early so had to pull that one. Another was cracked and scrambled. So, of the 3 remaining all have growth. It's kinda hard to see in those Marans eggs but I have to good flashlight and it is possible..lol

Russ please let me know how eggs I sent to you are doing.

I just put my Wellie eggs in the hatcher today..6 of the original 7. I have no idea whats going on in them since they are soooo dark and my candler is a homemade coffee can so its not that great with dark eggs so im just going to see how many hatch.

I candled today and all 5 duckies are swimmin' like crazy. (the d'uccles from my own are doing great as well...7 out of ten).

I'd love to do another swap..sshhhhh... DH will hear me.

Im glad to hear ur duckies are doing good. I have a great hatch rate on those, great fertility. I also have had 100% hatches from eggs incubated by broody silkies. GOOD LUCK! Sending Crested hatch vibes your way!

Are the only ones laying right this minute and everything except quail and OEGB have to be a mixed order of pure eggs because I only have 1-2 hens each breed. Too bad you cant pick ur partner or eggs, but I would be glad to sell you some eggs, I have very reasonable prices and I love to do Variety packs.
