January Swap Chatter

Im in for a February swap, I have some new eggs to offer too....

Oh I forgot to update mine havent checked them but I saved them mamaw had a generator going so i hooked them up to it and saved my eggs YAY! I had 4 of my millies and both buttercup eggs fertile but none of the appenzellers were so hopefully I have a couple hatch they were only without power for about an hour!

Just candled before putting into the hatcher.. 5 were totally clear

I swore I saw dark blobs last time, but I got a better flashlight tonight and, nothing. Not even a blood ring. Two more have smaller dark blobs in them with veining, but I can't tell if they're alive or not. The other three had huge dark blobs, obvious veining, and wrigglers. I left the clears and the miniblobs in the 'bator just.. y'know.. in case

If they don't show progress by the time the others hatch, I'll open them to check for scrambling.

The tiniest egg in the batch is one of the 3 that made it. I was really surprised and pleased at that. I thought for sure it'd be one of the clear ones, but nope. Definitely a wriggler.

I think the eggs were fine when shipped, and I think my post office let them get too cold or something

update on my eggs, had only 2 out of dozen eggs that grew and one has hatched today. it is a blue dutch. now I just hope the other egg hatches.

I've only got 4 of the rocks growing, crack the rest they were infertile
