Jap quail eggs 16 days

Hello guys i have quail eggs its day 16 now and i haven´t seen any movement or pipping is that normal?
I raised humidity yesterday to 64% and stop turning the eggs the temp is stable at 37.7C.
When should i see egg movement or pipping?

You did'nt say where you got your eggs. Sit on your hands for a bit. If your bator or thremometer is just a bit off you can run a little behind. You should start see'n small pips in the shell like shot with a bb gun from the inside..If they developed that is....In the hot weather we've been having, shipped eggs could have a hard time even if they were good to start with. Most wait 2 or 3 day past due hatch... 1st thing I'd do is recount my days, the day you set them is 0 next day 1, and so on... Then figure 18 days before you get excited. It seems your only 17 days if your day count is right... Recount using the first day as zero thou, lots mistakes made here!

Lol thanks for the help my eggs are in the incubator since 15-06-2012 - 11:50 pm (night) so they are there 15 days now and today at 11:50 they will make 16 days right ? im from portugal sorry the english

So today at11:30 PM is 16 days. Tomorrow at 11:30 pm they will be in for 17 days. You should see pips any time...Dont get excited till about wens., then give it another day!!! Good luck! Bill

Hello i just arrived from work and i saw litlle pieces of the shells on the incubating floor how long now to hatch im so excited day 16
