Due to mis-shipment I got one blacktailed buff Japanese hen. I would love to get more from a breeder. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Okay guys!
I'm going to need some help on this. I HAD a black Cochin hen that was killed while broody. Two of the eggs hatched and the chicks lived but only one of them was hers. The chick that was hers is a black Cochin (of course) mixed with a WHITE Japanese. I am almost POSSITIVE that she is a hen but the tail feathers through me off! Because her dad was a white Japanese (we sold him before she hatched) does that mean that even if she is a hen her tail feathers would stick up? I have only one picture right now that is of her at this age but it only shows her head. The only other pics I have of her are from when she was a chick. She is now 4 months old. Do you think she IS a she? Here are the pictures.
