I asked the guy at the store to give me two silkies (they were in the same bin) and I ended up with these two. I figured out right away when we got home that they weren’t silkie. I went back the next day and got silkies) I noticed these were listed as Japanese Bantams. I have tried to do research on them but I’m not finding much, especially what they will look like. Most i have found on the internet are either black, white or mostly white with black tails. I’m curious if there’s a way to know what these two will look like when they are full grown, and if it’s possible to sex them at this age. They are about 5 weeks old. Also, any info about this breed would be delightful. They are sooooooo much smaller than the rest of the birds and their tiny little legs are hilarious.

I have one Japanese Bantam now,,, and had one in the past, They had different coloring of feathers.
They are very gentle chickens. Will be friendly if handled often. Otherwise skittish if not.
I cant help you with sexing them.
