Japanese quail Breeding New colours

Hi, i,m from my names kyle i,m from geelong, australia.. i,ve had quail for about a year. i,ve got my first batch of mail order eggs in my new incubator day 17(getting inpaitent) i,m interested in starting to breed for colours,is anyone developing new colours etc.?

Take it slow... I assume it gets cold that far S. Kinda funny for me to say... Good luck have eggs coming one day I will make it that way God willing...

i bought one of those 25 egg incubators off ebay, it came from china. My first batch, its day 19 and no chicks yet? i cracked one open this morning and just yoke,i hope some hatch tonight

I just about gave up on the eggs tonight i took 2 out and cracked them open and found just yoke. i then saw one of the eggs peck open a small hole and 30 min later i have my first chick. a couple more are moving so i think i may have more by morning.

good news on the 1st hatch. im looking at getting a hova bator. keep posted on the progress of the hatching, which supplier did use for your eggs?

Ok i used Adelaide Quails

I got some from Adelaide quails, I hatched 24 out of 26 eggs.
