Japanese quail dieing off

My quail are gradually dieing off. They seem healthy then listless and then act paralyzed.

They are in 4'x2' pens with 3 birds per pen so I doubt overcrowding is the issue. Could this be fighting indunced? I think I have the agressive birds spread out but, it could be male on male mortality since the last three were all males.

Could it be light stress or food stress?

Do you have males penned together?

Not totally sure on gender. A couple males did feather pulling and one did 'wing beating' at the feeder. They were separated so they don't bully others.
