Ok so the first set of eggs went in the bator and out of the 4 none are fertile. So I set 8 ....none of those are fertile either!!?!! What gives here.. I have seen the roos do their job.Could it be that both are infertile?

how do you know that they arent fertile???
how long have they been in the bator?

The 8 eggs have been in there for 5 days. No veining. I have 4 more eggs to try but I am thinking they will do the same. I have a pair and a trio. The hens are about 2yo and the roos are about 1 1/2 yo. Everyone seems healthy and eating/drinking just fine.

Break an egg open before incubating and see if it really is fertile or not. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16008 I had no trouble with my japs. At just 4months the hens were all laying fertile eggs no matter which roo they were with. I started hatching chicks by the time they were 6months and they laid pretty much daily all last winter and spring until my first generation was mostly wiped out by a dog. The chicks I hatched are just starting to lay now.

I cracked them open last night and there was no bulls eye

Those banty roos breed all the hens here and I have more mixes from them than anything else! Give them a little more time. You may try trimming around her vent too to allow a better fertility. I have raised bantams for over 26 years and this was never a problem so just wait a little more. You have beautiful birds too!

Thanks I will try that. I thought it was weird that the eggs had nothing going on. I figured maybe one or 2 but not 12
