Java eggs on ebay

If the eggs are from the bird which are shown in the pictures they definitely not pure green. When I look to the crest of the male it is a spalding with more than 50% IB. The hen has more green blood but is not pure too.
There are only two options the breeder has absolute not knowledge or he tries to cheat you.

Well this has been another good example of why you should not always trust what the seller says. Sometimes that is a tough lesson especially for the people that buy adult Spaldings for green peafowl prices. The best thing for any buyer to do is know exactly what you want, what it looks like, and how much they usually go for before you buy it.

On this seller's website they have the same peacock photo labeled as a Spalding and it shows photos of India blues mating with green peahens. http://selleggs2.weebly.com/

Then on this page they have photos of what looks like a Java. http://selleggs.weebly.com/

If you have green peafowl why use spaldings to sell green peafowl eggs and then in the description they say they are the real Javas you have heard about and that you get what you pay for so that is why the eggs are expensive. It seems weird to me.

I like buying birds from the breeder in person that way I can ask questions, see how the birds are kept, pick out the ones I want, etc.

Edit: Okay this annoys me, this was the caption they have next to a blurry photo of a green peacock on their site:
Quote: So they are selling eggs as "DNA tested pure" when it seems that they only have one pure Java and the peahens they breed him to are spaldings.
