Does anyone have these I got some for Christmas and wanted to know if they are nice birds or mean

I have only one, a big girl Maggie. She is very sweet and docile. I would like to get more but they mature so slowly that I think I will get some RIR's and BO's instead. Here are some pictures of her.

Yes they do, but they really are sweet birds so it's ok I know she start laying soon. One other thing she has a deep voice and sounds like a goose, But I love her she is my favorite.

I have 4 that I raised from 1 day old chicks. They aren't any more friendly/unfriendly than any of my other girls. They are all high in the pecking order in my hen house. All near the top. My barred rocks are the only one dominant over them. They also lay lovely big eggs for me, too. I would like to have some of the jumbo blacks - now those are impressive!
