Jens PICS **Updated 12/5** Check it out!!

Love the pics! How close is your coop to your house? Can you see if from the pool???

Just curious--I absolutley love checking out other people yards and set ups! So fun!

Crazy4chicks, her name is Ellie Mae, sometimes we call her Mae Mae. I got her as a rescue at 6 mo old from a boxer rescue group, she's a purebread but no papers, I don't need em anyway. She is so sweet, but she doesn't like men in baseball caps. I think she was mistreated as a young pup.

Tiffany, my coop is about 150 feet from the back yard. It's behind our shop and not visible from the back yard, but if I want to see it all I just walk around the corner to the side of the house.

Jenni, what a beautiful home and all the chicks look so happy. My 14yo son is trying to talk my husband in to moving to the country. He is wanting a rooster sooooo bad.
We live in a residental area...but still have chickens on the side of our house. We have 1 great coop and a fenced in area for another big yard. I guess we will just have to keep the roosters in his room

Thanks, sorry I didn't reply to the boxer question. Her name is Ellie Mae, we call her Mae Mae. She's gained 7 pounds since that pic was taken.

My time has flown, all my girls from Lisa are now laying and broody. I gave the Roos to a farm, just couldn't see eating Silkie Roos, (I eat my standards but, I'm not as brave as Purple Chicken)

Anyway I lost 2 hens to the heat, and 1 got plugged up and it was too late to save her, we had to process 2 because we couldn't break them from eating all the eggs. Harmony has been restored.

So now I have 5 Silkie Hens, 2 Mille Fleurs, and 8 Standard hens, and babies hatching under a White Rock. They all live together peacefully in the run.

I have a lot more pics, and will upload soon. I've had a busy 6 months.

Jen
