?????Jersey Giant Lt.Brahma cross ?????????

I'm new to this chicken ranching and have a question of cross breeding. I have Jersey Giants and Light Brahmas and am planning on keeping a couple roosters of each and several hens of each. Is their a problem if there is cross breeding between the two other than not being a pure strain ? I was planning on using the offspring for meat and eggs .

Right now the majority of my birds ar 6-8 weeks with another batch of Lt.Brahmas 3wks old . I want to have them all in one pen 30'x60' and not have to seperate to eliminate cross breeding . I read somewhere there could be chance of having health issues with offspring due to crossbreeding.
