I searched the forum and I have not quite found the answer I am looking for. Are these girls so big that I need to make bigger than usual nest boxes and pop doors in my plans if I am planning on having one in my flock?

Depends. Do you have hatchery stock or show/breeder stock?

My biggest chickens around here are ENORMOUS and still fit in my nesting boxes but each persons' can differ. Same with doors. If yours aren't hatchery stock you'll need broader and lower perches though.

Well my plan is to order from Meyer because it is a 1 hour drive for me.
