So over a week ago I ordered more jersey giant chicks (6) to add to my established flock. I have 4 and they are all hens surprisingly! I called yesterday and the day before because the hatchery only ships monday and Wednesday for live chicks and I finally received tracking yesterday. I saw the receipt said "Jersey Giany Hatching eggs" I double checked and I did indeed order hatching eggs.
They come in Monday and I have easily hatched chicken eggs before....that were fresh. How do I hatch these? Anything special I need to know before putting them in the incubator? I'm cleaning the incubator now from my quail who are in lock down in the hatcher. Next time I need to double check my order, but at least shipping was free since they had a deal on hatching eggs.
