Jersey Giants thread for pictures and discussion

Are these Jersey Giants? They are 3 or 4 weeks old and I bought them as Olive Eggers?

I got them with the little gold barred one in front

Nope, I do not believe those are Jersey Giants.

I have the roost at about 30 inches and I also have a shelf that is about 5 ft off the floor I keep the feed and a bail of shaving on. You can guess where my jersey girls like to roost---- on the shelf.

Nella My giants fly up on my 4 foot pump house all the time The also fly into my grow out pen that has a 5 foot fence around it. I think you have just been lucky with yours as I have seen my rooster fly upwards to 6 feet to get over a fence. He had to land on the fence itself but made it over.

When they were younger they were on a high roost. As they got heavier, I lowered it, I didn't want them to break their legs. It's now knee high.
