I have a question: I have 2 Black JG hens, 1 Splash JG hen and 1 Blue JG roo. What will my off Spring be? Thanks!

Oh, on the "blue splash" - that's just what I call them, I don't know if that's accurate or not. I've not heard anything other than "splash" unless the splashed color IS LITERALLY blue, which mine are not. I'll post pics tomorrow - I had a Hall baby that turned very, very light blue, and was solid for weeks. She looke dto me like a lavender almost (I was kind of excited about it!). Well, as she grew, she began to get her splashing. So, her base color is a very light blue, but she's splashed. She's REALLY pretty!

Mrs. Fluffy - Andalusion Blue genetics are used to make this determination:

Blue X Blacks = 50% each Blue and Black
Black x Black = 100% Black
Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, and 25% Splash
Splash X Black = 100% Blue
Splash X Blue = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Splash X Splash = 100% Splash

So if my Blue JG roo breeds all my 3 hens, then I will get a mixture of those colors?

Sorry for the yellow lighting. I tried to fix it, but haven't figured out that camera.

here's the rest of the chicks that aren't jersey giants, but were same hatch. Silkies, and the other two are from an olive egger, and BCM egg.

Now you got that picture posting figured out really good! Congratulations on your hatch! You will love those Giants, I am sure!

BCMarans? Which one would that be .... I don't see one there.

The last picture. One of the yellow chicks is from our hen Roxi ( from Wynette) She is a BCM. The roosters we have are a BCM Stevie, and Olive egger named Houdini. Both roosters also are from Wynette. The other yellow chick( in last picture ) is from an olive egger. Also from Wynette.

Our flock freeranges. We don't seperate unless I want to purposely hatch a specific breed. So the yellow chick from Roxi is an up and coming olive egger. I have a beautiful hen already from a previous hatch. She lays VERY dark green ( army green ) egg.
