I hear some crows in the morning but they do not bother my chickens. Since I put the girls outside(End of May) I have only seen 1 hawk circle over head.So far so good. I know it is just a matter of time.

I absolutely LOVE my Jerseys! They're not my best layers, but they're just so darned big & beautiful!

I just realized that I am going to have to rebuild my pop door to accommodate the bigger bodies. Any suggestions on size? Should I lower my roosts as well? They are probably 16" from the roof now...... LOL, maybe I should raise my roof.
