Backstory:

I got Jessamine as a rescue from an abandoned FFA project. She was fed broiler feed and rarely had sufficiently clean water. Here's what she looked like:

For over a year and a half, she looked like she'd been through the spin cycle. I honestly thought she would look like this forever. I even posted about it here on BYC. Well, she is unrecognizable now!

That is how mine looked when I rescued them, I think the ones I have are the same breed as yours as well

Thanks, everyone! I still cant believe it's the same chicken.

It's thanks to BYC, too, who said I might need to up the protein for a high production bird like Jessamine. All flock pellets helped!
