I would like to join in on the fun, but I am up past my bed-time.Nearly Fainted Initially
Noxious Fumes Inside

You men--love you! Rick has used the pallet forks to spike a looser rolled round bale...hee hee...efficient multi-tasking, blue style!Hope you and Rick have a good quiet night!
I got a two spike bale fork that will also do pallets 48 inches or less.
A very handy tool for a tractor owner to have if he has critters to feed and clean up after!

The PNC Christmas Price Index shows the current cost for one set of each of the gifts given in the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
For a price as of 2014...the above PNC Christmas Price Index is $27,673.21, jest a one percent increase from last year.
Now one does realize...some people say that the way the song goes and is sung...one does end up with a dozen pear trees (dang near an orchard!) and quite the flocks, gaggles, bevies of birds too...LOL For it is on each day, you get the past gifts PLUS a new one...hee hee hee...depends on how "literal" your romantic partner is in this aspect!![]()
https://www.pncchristmaspriceindex.com/pnc/price-index-by-year
True Cost of Christmas $116,273.06 in 2014 and in 2013, $114,651.18 which is an increase of 1.4% between the two years...
And to think that love can have a price tag put on it! Yeh...all of $116,273.06 of it. Where's MY romantic mother lode, eh?
Hopefully nothing dies before I can flog it all off! Eek....![]()
There is an ongoing debate too regarding the pricing structure about say the milk maids, ladies/lords and drummers...costs of owning or renting them so to speak! LOL This year it is the same as last...$58 for the eight milk maids...cheep cheep cheapy rentals I am betting as the Wikipedia site above simply states in regards to the milk maids; "The maids are assumed to be unskilled laborers earning the Federal Minimum Wage." ACK...no wonder I don't hear too many people mention when they grow up (past the benefit of NOT getting small pox, just the milder form as in cow pox!)...they want to be MILK MAIDS!

I personally have a very NARROW interest in the prices of this seasonal song and find the costs of the birds to be MY main focus...I do ponder the five golden rings are probably just that, rings fer yer fingers made of gold and not the historical FIVE GOLDEN RING NECK PHEASANTS! **

** Wikipedia concurs with the price NOT being for birds but actual fingee rings...![]()
Anyway...What I find interesting is that the CHICKENS and GEESE went up from last year...2013...![]()
So while this may not interest others (like the ongoing changes in the price of rice in China) it does me! Not that I can ever justify all the $ and time and effort plugged into the black hole I call this Hobby Farm...BUT I can revel in the aspect that the price of hens and geese is on the rise...bully to that!![]()
So there...anyone in the Christmas spirit now?
Shout outs and whining about "BAHHH HUMBUG on CHRISTMAS!"
Jolly good then, my work here is done for the day today!![]()
<<And to even think that I would EVER play nice nice in the sandbox! Bwa ha ha...take that...and that...wing a ding DONG! Anyone crying, "Oh my eye yet??">>![]()
