Jest Another Day in Pear-A-Dice - Higgins Rat Ranch Conservation Farm in Alberta

OK you two--behave! Gonna be lots of "virtual" puppy breath to go rounds.

Now you do realize that ACDs are pretty quick to turn into mini versions of the adults, eh? I don't want anyone disappointed when they see photos posted and they are not too puppyish looking. What the ??

The girls will be: 12 weeks + two days (Emmy) and 13 weeks + one day old (Lacy) on August 4th...

So without a size reference, the girl pups will look pretty much like the adults do except for maybe their ears; some of them have to grow into their EARS (helps dissipate heat, dog ears!). Sometimes puppies have these great BIG feets but the desired expression in ACD conformation is for tiny cat paws...so usually even the pups have pretty smallish feets. Maybe a little softy soft puppyish fur but past that, kinda a breed that is all business from the get go.

Now when it comes to antics though...forget that. Their OBM's (Optional Brain Modules) are always on back order and don't arrive till after they are like three, sometimes even five years old, so it is fun for a very long, long time (fun...yes, it is FUN!). Cattle Dogs are always ready to play, act like puppies and hand out slurpies if the humans behave well and deserve them.

Makins at eight weeks old; one ear up, one ear almost...
About the last window on when they look sorta puppish for the last time is when their ears go up...the ears can dip back down again when teething (dependent on calcium use), but for the most part, ears up, there goes the puppy...hee hee... Teething begins at around 16 to 20 weeks.

If I ever die I hope to be reincarnated as one of your animals Tara. Best of luck with your stinky breath puppies

Ah Bam...that's pretty sweet of you.

You do realize we eat all the mean roos eh? So if you did come here, you would have to be good...best behaviour good or you'd end up being good to the end...as in good eats!

And I do agree, dog breath does stink...ha ha ha...dangerous stuff, it is addictive and it IS stinky.

The world should be happy...we are getting two girl pups or we'd be likely discussing...other kinds of breath...

OH Bama, glad you trust us enough to come out as a dog liker. I have heard there are a few breeds that allergic people seem able to live with.
