No worries Scott...the ACD is complex and we all need to review, even I forget some of the stuff too.

Just getting ready to serve dinner for Rick and I (Salisbury steak, corn and homegrown boiled taters).

Appointment with Best Vet was excellent. Lacy and Emmy got third shots (DHPP), first rabies, and kennel cough nose drops. We drew blood to have them heartworm tested and should know the results in a week or so. Got deworm pills up to next fall and looks like our preventative medicals are good for a whole year...yee haw!

Best Vet says teeth are coming in beautiful, lungs, heart, ears, nose, throat, gums, eyes, nervous system, coat/skin, gastrointestinal, urogenital system, musculoskeleton, abdomen are all great. Weight is perfect for both and another riddle fer yah, who weights more of the two? Asked what we feed and comment on sheet is "excellent" regarding diet. Clean bill of health...

Girls had a gas...ton of fun meeting the vet staff and Best Vet adores them. Stopped and washed the Suburban and the girls got to maul a complete stranger lady who has a ten year old Lab at home. Picked up some more pork for soup stock and tidbits for the gals...what could be a more perfect day past we are all zonked out and majorly tired. Sleep time is gonna feel good.

With puppy needle teeth play times...if you "pricked" a puppy, you'd jest be playing along the correct ACD pupper game strategies!

They did not like the canine cough vac...that is nasal and nasty in all dog's minds since you are trying to DROWN them. I've been "vacced" for kennel cough innumerous times myself...secondary spray, eh!

There was blood, sweat and thankfully, no tears on the exam table by the time we were finished with the two pups...oh yes, and puppy hair from the blood letting...course it goes without saying, I snagged the clippings and bagged them with a dated paper...keepsakes. I'm totally warped and ever so geared up for my canine colour genetics ongoing studies. Little hair of the dogs...why thank you!

I believe we ate at about 9 pm...wish that was an odd time but not so much in summer. Got light, still doing things...humans always eat dinners last here...supper time is often late and that is what it is.

Alberta is on Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) and I guess you'd have to see what that means in regards to the East Coast's time.


Off to have breaky of ham, scrambles and toast with Rick. Girls are having a bit of a nappy after gutzing down some pork stock and nibbles with frozen peas (to cool) and natural yoghurt.

They are right back into their schedules...wonderbar! I've totally cleaned their containment digs from top to bottom and on my second to last load of dog laundry from yesterday's excursion.

All Sunday morns should be this relaxing!
