I call him delicious!

Well delicious weigh in.

Aug 23 2017 IMGP5164.jpg

Yesterday, ewe lamb Èden weighed 62 pounds (born June 13), Èvangelina weighs 51 pounds and Èder weighs the same, 51 pounds (twins born June 10). :p

Aug 23 2017 IMGP5141.jpg

Oh how the girl dogs have grown...
They arrived from New South Wales, Australia
in the crate they are in front of! :)

Still working on getting a weaning ram lamb for company for Èder...see where this all goes...I do know that three porky lambs fit in my largest wire crate...or one porky ewe like Duro...

IMGP5191.jpg

Duro
And nope, if'n yer wanting to air fly a sheep...these wire crates are not IATA approved...so don't even consider it.

0 International Air Transport Association kennel approval IMGP5111.jpg

We use this particular WIRE crate for plopping into the back of a pickup to transport a shape if needed...or dogs, or whatever. Not so much for birds as most will flap themselves to death in an open wire pen. Closed kennels work or cardboard boxes with holes punched in for air. Gotta have air, but not too much!

IMGP5182.jpg

Hmmm...enough crates and kennels here?? Well???

Thank goodness, possible squirrel attack thwarted

Yes...jest like the movie UP...

Which likely, Benny has never viewed. :old Time to go to the movies Benny and take at least ONE child so it looks like you're going to a child's movie for a legitamate REASON! :lau

Yeah, gotta watch those sneaky squirrels. Good dogs!!!!

Every dog's nightmare...you were goofing off and missed the squirrel invasion.

Funny part is, is that pile of tarped lumber, contained a WEASEL (long-tailed weasel Mustela frenata), this spring. I would be more expectant that Emmy would be after a weasel as a threat than wimpy squirrels!

Shalom to all!

Yes Benny...Shalom to all. :highfive:

Trip to get new vehicle (new to us- 22 years is old for a Suburban I suppose!) was near nine hour drive. Glad to have it. :D

Aug 27 2017 IMGP6570.jpg

Lacy likes it immediately -
Trips to get hugs from strangers...she's GAME ON! :hugs

Aug 27 2017 IMGP6803.jpg

Em's not so convinced this suits her style!
It is afterall...a shade of RED as in Maroon, eh!

Aug 27 2017 IMGP6766.jpg

Inside and...

Aug 27 2017 IMGP6574.jpg

Outside!

Super low miles (twenty two years old with 62,000 miles...works out to like 2,818 miles per year or 7.7 miles a day). That said, the original owner (am the third owner now) managed to mark the outside up pretty good...I guess he was near death and his faculties were a bit risky. So he managed to mark the one back door, creased the hood, put some pretty decent rock chips all round, most all of the damage is on the driver's side outside...inside is nice. AH but that is fine because this can be my daily driver...if and when I am NOT driving the Creul Bus...LOL

Run outta picture file room again...

A feisty septuagenarian teams with a fearless wilderness ranger to do battle with a vicious band of beasts and villains in this computer-animated adventure scripted by Pixar veteran Bob Peterson and co-directed by Peterson and Monsters, Inc. director Peter Docter. Carl Fredricksen is a 78-year-old balloon salesman. His entire life, Carl has longed to wander the wilds of South America. Then, one day, the irascible senior citizen shocks his neighbors by tying thousands of balloons to his home and finally taking flight.

Boss Man has shed out rather nicely

Aug 23 2017 IMGP5080.jpg

Boss Man - got his top coat in place...
Sharp Dressed man? :thumbsup

Sharp Dressed Man
ZZ Top
Clean shirt, new shoes
And I don't know where I am goin' to
Silk suit, black tie
I don't need a reason why
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man

Gold watch, diamond ring
I ain't missin' not a single thing
Cufflinks, stick pin
When I step out I'm gonna do you in
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man

Topcoat, top hat
And I don't worry 'cause my wallet's fat
Black shades, white gloves
Lookin' sharp, lookin' for love
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man

Songwriters: Frank Beard, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill

UP was a very good movie, I cried!! Always good to see Foamy out in public. Can't tell what Emmest is doing but, Lacey has her bark to gnaw on.

I like the movie UP . It was a sorta sad beginning but coming to terms over the entire movie, I think it has a hidden deep message that life can still go on...for a couple when one has to go like Ellie did. That part sucks, but with Carl going on a trip in his house like he did (Russell in tow), it was whimsically (and emotionally draining at times!) fun!

Em's inspecting the water plants Rick has found the time and energy to get hung in the Orchard pond this weekend. Everything smells new and Emmy has to inspect. Lacy is indeed chewing birch bark and Styra Foam is doing circles...she never stays still when out and about...found running at large in a city park as a feral dog when we adopted her...she never ceases and just lays there much! :wee

Do the girls have any dog shows coming up this fall?

Lacy will be going to the November show and hoping there will be other ACDs there for competition in breed. Otherwise, we will have to compete at Herding Group Level. She needs one more point for her Conformation Championship (I believe...my mind is mush lately!) to be finished.

Emmy still abhors crowds with too many people. This weekend, Emmy and Lacy got to go to a pet store to buy rawhides...Lacy was thrilled, Emmy put up with it.

Rick and I figure over time Emmy may get better with this or not...but if she never does, no worries... She has two points and took Best in Breed the first show we went to so that may be as far as she wants to go with the showing aspect. It is more normal for Cattle Dogs to hate shows. Lacy LOVES shows...all those people that give her pets, attention, and love. She'd adore going every day. :lau

IMGP5445.jpg

I'd be a personal wreck if we had to deal with crowds of people every day...so I guess MY temperament is more like Emmy's than Love Bug Lacy's. :p

Yes indeed, Rosh hashna at the 20 of September! I LOVE THIS PERIOD OF THE YEARS! Love the holidays of Tishrey!

The Month of Tishri
twry1.gif

http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday1.htm

The month of Tishri, which falls during the months of September and October on the Gregorian calendar, is probably the busiest time of the year for Jewish holidays. In the month of Tishri, there are a total of 13 days of special religious significance, 7 of them holidays on which work is not permitted.

These holidays include the holidays known as the "High Holidays," the most important holidays of the Jewish year: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. A 2000 survey showed that only 46% of all Jews affiliate themselves with a synagogue, but 59% fast on Yom Kippur. If a Jew ever goes to synagogue (other than for weddings or bar mitzvahs), it is for these holidays.

A whole MONTH of holidays? Well OK>>>13 days of special days of which SEVEN you cannot work on. So long as it is PAID holidays, I would enjoy that! Otherwise, UNpaid holidays do not make the bank account grow...I got creatures and feed to buy, so I work. :hmm

:th I work for BIRD SEED! :th

And dog feed, and sheep feed, and human feed...
and oh shut up and just FEED me! :p
