Chapter 42

(P.S. Because we're crossing over into part 2, this chapter is going to be very short)

"Bonnie!" Bella cried.
"Bullet!!" Rupert cried.
"Mommy! Daddy! Help," Bullet cried as the two were being dragged away.
Rupert and Bella ran as they tried to stop whatever was kidnapping their daughters.
“Fenix, go help them,” Nikki ordered.
“No. That’s their punishment for having chicks without my permission,” Fenix replied bluntly.
“Then I’m going,” Nikki declared, charging off into the forest behind Bella and Rupert.


“Bonnie? Bullet,” Rupert and Bella called. It had been hours since they had last seen them. Nikki had tried using her nose to smell them, but came up with nothing. The smell faded when a deep rain washed the countryside. They were all beginning to lose hope.
