Chapter 44

“Bullet?! Bonnie,” a cat behind the grass said as she approached the chicks.
“H-how do you know our name,” Bullet asked warily as she stepped back.
“You’re the mask!!! Run,” Bonnie cried.
“Woah woah woah. I’m a friend of your parents,” the cat said.
“How are we sure,” Bullet asked.
“Tell us the names of our parents and we’ll believe you,” Bonnie challenged.
“Bella and Rupert,” the cat replied. Bonnie and Bullet sighed with relief.
“Now, I’m Nikki and I’m here to get you back to your parents,” Nikki said.
“Okay!” Bonnie said.
“I, think that they’re this way…” Nikki said pointing to some mountains, somewhat unsure.


“Where are we,” Nikki asked. “I sure don’t remember this huge marsh in front of Gingernut’s cave.
“Don’t ask me,” Bonnie replied.
“Maybe we should try walking through it,” Bullet suggested.
“No, I want to go in the right direction towards the cave,” Nikki insisted.
“Just turn around! We’ll keep walking, maybe we’ll run into the countryside there,” Bullet suggested.
“Alright,” Nikki sighed. With that, they set off onto a long journey that they would never forget.

I'm going to wrap her box with duct tape, so that if a fox or something wanted to get in (we don't see red foxes, only silver ones, weird huh?) would have to go through 2 barriers instead of just chew through cardboard. You can try that.

I did that when my FG rabbit died from mites.
