Hey y’all!

I wanted to see if anyone had any good hypoallergenic earring brand suggestions. I got double piercings on both ears in October, and one of them has stubbornly refused to heal. I received some ComfyEarrings for Christmas and so far, they’re my favorites yet. I got a pair of hoops and a pair of studs, and I just ordered 3 more pairs of studs. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They have flat backings tjat screw on so there’s no pointy parts causing pain and pressure. Really love them.

Interested to see what y’all say!

Thanks for the recommendation!
I don't buy earrings very much, due to the fact that almost everyone in my family makes jewelry, lol!

Brand? No. Gold or silver is all I would recommend. Surgical stainless steel could be an option too.
Yeah, that’s what I’ve done so far. I mostly wear gold jewelry, but the ones I’ve really enjoyed have been pricey, so I’m looking for better alternatives.

Very high quality stainless steel then.
As far as I know - and I could very well be wrong - surgical implant stainless steel is the only true hypoallergenic steel, as even surgical-grade stainless contains trace amounts of nickel.

Like others have stated - titanium, 14K gold, and sterling silver are all options to consider. It depends on your skin; I have no known metal allergies and yet have a lobe piercing that struggled to heal. Not sure why.

I swear my neometal non-threaded posts and fronts. We have the bezel cabochon variety in all the ears at this house. Get them from a (previously) local piercing studio as the manufacturer only sells wholesale. 8 total piercings with these studs and no ear issues! Sensitive ears so we can't wear anything you'd get at a local store or typical mall store.

Titanium’s worked well for me so far. Gold plated titanium especially

I've never had any reactions from cheap stuff back when I had normal sized stuff. I just like Ti because of the weight savings. 3/4 inch plugs get heavy in stainless steel. All my stuff is either black or polished.
