JFF Coop Before it was a coop

I finally figured out that I could post several pics on one reply instead of many.

This pic shows their run with the coop in the back. Both are mobile but they are very heavy and I can't move them by myself.

This pic is sideways -- sorry:D -- but it is an interior shot through the door. The big hanging container is their food and the smaller one that you can barely see is their water.

This pic is one of the girls in their run.

This pic is my daughter holding a couple of our chicks. She loves them and they are friendly enough for her to pick them up obviously:love.

There you go. Thanks for looking at the Jackson Funny Farm coop. It's not even finished (roof and doors for nesting boxes still to do) and I've realized that neither the coop, nor the run is big enough and I'm trying to figure out how to remedy that. I also need to figure out how to make it a little more waterproof. We had 8 inches of rain last week from Tropical Storm Hermine and the girls got a little wet.

:hit The bottom portion is relatively open and covered w/ hardware cloth so I'm thinking some sort of flaps/shutters I can cover them with but still able to have some ventilation for the girls.

I welcome any comments or suggestions.
