can someone tell me how to tell roo from pullet? I have 3 chicks 1 has longer feathers and smaller comb 2 have smaller feathers and larger combs someone who knows this breed HELP

I dont want to get rid of a pullet LOL

I don't know anything about JG's but in most breeds the pullets will feather out much faster than cockerals.

She was somewhere around 4 - 5 months old here.

I am looking for some of the younger photos.

I know Zuni has JG's, too.

I would have to look at them standing frontal and a side view, a bigger shot.

Mine all had what I thought was a large comb for a pullet early on but it never really got any bigger, it just remained the same proportions as they grew.

This cold is kicking my rear because honestly I can't tell one way or the other right now.

they are 5 weeks old now when can i know for sure?

mine are turning 6 weeks this friday and I can start telling some of thr roos from the girls. Maybe next week you will know?
