a brief background, a couple weeks ago, i had a couple chickens get sick (pamperedpullet suggest it was coryza) so I did the quarantine, and tylan 50 injections on them. when they showed no more symptoms, i out them back ouside. they are all fine now. no runny noses, no stink. every day i obsessively go out and check noses and observe my flock. today i noticed my JG roo looked like he had gunk dried on his beak, so i caught him, and only one nostril is showing a little runny stuff. the other is fine. his eyes are clear and his head is not swollen, nor does he feel hot to the touch. however, his ears were crusted over, so i picked them clean and got the yellow pus out also, but if you squeeze them, they still look runny. his head doesn't smell, but his ears do.
should i give him a tylan shot to treat the ear infection? if so, do you give him the same amount i gave a smaller hen or does he get more since he's about 10 pounds?
i can't afford corrid to do the flock, or oxine to spray everything down until next week.
