Just starting our urban back yard chickens, we can only have 4 hens, no roosters but when you buy them they are not sexed, not sure what to do if we end up with a rooster in one of the chicks we bought..any suggestions

and Welcome To BYC! You can try rehoming roosters, post on your state thread to see if anyone local is looking for a roo, put ads up in the BYC Buy-Sell-Trade forum or on Craiglist or the feed store, etc. But, usually extra roosters are processed to eat, you can either process them for yourself or if you have a dog or cat to feed to them, or sell/ give them away to be processed, also again posting on Craigslist locally.
