johnson waterfowl???????????

They require you to add a heating pad if you order less than 12 regular sized ducklings, 15 call Ducklings, or 6 Goslings it is $7.50. I paid $20.25 for shipping to Zone 6. I called first and spoke to Emily, the owner, to make sure I sent the correct amount for my order. It was good that I did, my local PO told me we were in zone 4 so I would not have sent the proper payment amount. Emily and her husband are both very nice! We are going to be away so I requested that my duckling only be delivered after we get back and Emily ensured me that that would be fine. I will post an update when they arrive.

Last year I ordered from e-fowl and the order was fulfilled by Johnson's. I paid over double the overall price and had to order 15 ducklings, thank goodness I knew two other people who wanted calls as well to split the order.

Below is the link to their website where you can print out a copy of the order form as well as get their contact information. They do not take credit card payments, I was instructed to send the form by mail with a check.

Good luck!

Interesting, still a good price either way. We did not have a fee for the heating pad for ours though and our shipping was really cheap. Maybe because we are in a different zone.

I ordered through efowl but the ducklings came from Johnson's waterfowl and got the assorted call duck option and was very pleased with what we got. Free shipping for the 15 minimum. 1 DOA.
4 grey
4 snowy
4 pastel
3 white
1 extra (I think its a pied grey? I asked for opinions on another thread)
My only complaint is we never got notified when our order would be shipped. I don't know whos fault that is.
It was a surprise we ordered 4/9/16 and they were shipped 4/18 arrived 4/19.
I would order from them again...

My experience with them was a bit different than @Wobbles . When I first called they were very friendly and answered all my questions. After that I sent in my order for 2 Black and White Magpie Drakes and Black and White Magpie Ducks. I had to pay the $7.50 heating pad charge and shipping was $10.50. Sexing was an additional $1.50 per bird which equaled up to $12. A week after I sent my order in they sent a letter back saying they would try to fulfill my order as requested. If they could not they would put me on a waiting list. I did not receive a call on Monday, and ended up calling them on Tuesday. She said they had not shipped any Magpies the day before but would send them tonight. I expected them on Thursday, but they came on Wednesday! All the ducklings were happy and healthy and were pretty close to breed standards. Only one was sexed incorrectly. In August something came and got 2 out of 3 of my drakes and 1 of my ducks while they were free ranging. I took my drake and 2 of my ducks to the fair as a breeding trio and they won Reserve champion I also got GC in showmanship with Alice my duck. I am very pleased with Johnsons and will be ordering from them again. I would like to get some Calls from them in the spring. I now currently have 4 ducks and 1 drake

Looking at doing a combined order for Indian runners from Johnson's with some neighbors this year. And just so I'm understanding this correctly, when they refer to zones for shipping, would that be agriculture/planting zones? Meaning, as a resident of lower peninsula Michigan, they would consider me Zone 5?

Glad to hear of everyone's good experiences through Johnson's! Makes me confident in my reccomendations to the friends I'll be ordering with. :)
