johnson waterfowl???????????

Just thought I would update. Is still have all my magpies from Johnsons. I have been able to hatch some ducklings out from them. :) My Saxonies are also doing fine, although they are not quite as quality as the Magpies. I would like to try their calls or runners sometime in the near future. :) I don't have pictures right of hand, but I will try to get some on here.

anyone order from johnson's waterfowl in minnesota?
Yes, I did. Few people know about Johnsons's; however, they have the best ducklings in the world, not only in US. Very rare: emerald, white, gray runners and many other choices. Shipping restrictions may apply to several states, which affects me and others buying from my number 1 choice farm. Farmers are returning phone calls shortly, as the farm prefers phone and mail orders. When I bought from Johnson's, the package had additional ducklings on top of my order and they all survived. I rate this farm as "unique" because it might be the only farm who keeps rare endangered ducks. Because Runners are so supple ducks who lay almost 300 extra (jumbo) eggs a year, their eggs look like twice bigger than the tiny bird. They do not like to be picked, but they are tame and like be pet on belly and back while on the floor. They come to be pet any time they see me. Runners are nervous as adolescent 3-5 months but become the quietest ducks after they start laying about 4.5 - 5 months old.
