Honestly that's so cool looking. And if it's been that many days you would think you would see some babies in there. I would probably move on with them and start another

silly question but I have one of girls sitting on one of her eggs in my silkie house (which is small for a duck but a good size for bantams) I couldn’t get “mumma” duck and bantams in there comfortably..... so my theory is if I let abbey (scovie) sit during the day could I replace her at night with a “mother hen” silkie who takes on all my babies at night? She sits in the nest at night anyway... this way egg is still being kept warm and it gives both girls ther own bed at night...lol
