these are my ducks! fatty (pekin drake), cutie (pekin drake - lighter beak), latte (khaki drake), mocha (rouen hen), and scout (khaki hen)

my mom wont let me put clothing on them

Duckling hatch! Was a long one…lol…. When can I take “Lucky” out of the bator… I’m pretty sure the other eggs are goners and I want to get him (or her) out so I can go through the other eggs and toss what needs to tossed….

I don't think hatchlings really need to stay in the bator for any length of time - it's just better on the unhatched to not lift the lid a bunch of times.

I need to make sure that all the others are goners… i have some in there that were meant to hatch a week ago and haven’t was in the process of pulling them out when I saw lucky‘s external pip and closed the lid and left all the dead eggs in there….

Thanks…. Took 40hrs from external pip to complete hatch…. 1 out of 11 isn’t bad… hence the name “lucky”
