I set my bantam EE eggs today! The other 12 won’t make it for another couple days so I may have to use my Janoel incubator for lockdown so the other eggs don’t drown! The 12 coming are little so I want to make sure they get good air cells. Hoping for a better hatch from my d’Anver eggs since the d’Uccle eggs were not a great success!

I got 8 Egyptian Fayoumis eggs in my Brinsea today for day 1! Looking for a Good Friday hatch.

I think my 5 Fayoumis were just happy to be back with the main flock after 5+ weeks of seclusion.

Day four today. Did my first candling last night. So far 7 are developing. One developed a death ring. Checked it again this morning and yep, sure enough it was still there so tossed that egg.

Okay, haven't posted for a week or two...sorry. Life and all that stuff.

I have 6 eggs going into lockdown on Wednesday. Lost one at about day 3 and had another quit about day 9 or 10. The remaining 6 are perking right along so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will hatch for me.

Woke up this morning to three pips. Day 20 so hopefully hatchings today sometime which is day 20-21 as I started the incubator at 3PM.
