I just wanted to say how excited I was to find BYC. This is my first time owning baby chicks & I want to take the best care I possibly can for my new babies. I've always had a great love for critters. I have 2 doggies, (Ginger & Scooby) 1 cat, (Spooky) 1 parakeet, (Ducky) & now 6 rhode island chicks. (Mama, Jesse, Marilyn, Blondie, Bella & Zeli). I've owned in the past, a bunny, 2 rats & a few dogs. But never chickens.
Before I start asking help/advice I'm gonna read many past post for answers. I'm sure you guys/gals have answered many of the same questions over & over & over again. Lol
Look forward to getting to many of you.. Have a great weekend.

Congrats on the new chicks! Mountain Peeps has left you with two good links to follow. The second one will help you with raising your chicks well. The Learning Center has lots of articles on all the aspects of keeping poultry.

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!
