Tell me one area or indigenous people that have not been conquered at some time and period in history, that is an old, old, lame argument that does not bear reality. Their belief systems are still intact but their way of life is better as seen by the modern practices that they willingly choose to use. Killing babies to a fictitious god or eating your neighbor is a belief that I am sure the victims of that belief are happy are no longer observed. Katy... on behalf of all the Christians in the world I apologise for them and myself for making you feel the way you feel toward us.

I think it's much more important how we live our lives everyday than what label we put on ourselves and others.

I've often thought I bet there are going to be a lot of surprised pious people at the "pearly gates" when they see every belief system that ever exisited is there too...even the ones they were certain were wrong.

I asked people to pray for the world and come together and you start ranting about how Christians missionaries are forcing people to be Christians?!? Not to mention you have absolutely no fact to any of your conjectures....and somehow you just happen to look over all the good Christianity and their missionaries have done for the world? Are you trolling on purpose? Or do you really believe this stuff? I just want to ask you one question...What makes people like you so spiteful towards Christianity where you feel the need to twist the truth like that?

Please inform us all on how many "Native Cultures have been destroyed by Christians forcing people into believeing that their way of worshipping was wrong." And please do not cite blogs and homemade youtube videos. They are certainly NOT credible sources. Feel free to use Google though...

My point exactly......conflicting religious beliefs generally equal war sooner or later.

Native Americans, native Hawaiians to name two.....oops I should add the Aboriginies (sp?) of Australia.

Yes, I'm very "for real". I am not ranting....I responded to someone elses statement.....which I happen to disagree with. I believe you said it was ok to disagree with you.......

I am not spiteful towards Christianity. Just because I think not everyone else is wrong in how they believe that makes me spiteful? I consider myself a Christian with pagan tendencies.

Have missionaries done good things? Sure they have, but they've also done a lot of disservice and harm to other cultures that had gotten along just fine on this earth for thousands of years.

I never said anything about the Holocaust or the Muslim brotherhood or or any of your other absurd assumtions, I just refered to the huge amounts of funding is all. It appears to all of us that your views are very one sided and your just ranting. I thought you wanted to have a civil discussion as you stated in your first post, apparently not. I am not a fan of any of the things mentioned in your last statement. As a matter of fact I fought in 2 war's for the U.S. that allowed you the right to spew your idealism openly right or wrong as it is. So I really don't need a speach about freedom.

They might disagree that their life is better now than it was before....I'm not sure they've all willingly chosen to use modern practices.....they may use them as a survival tool in the world they've been forced to be a part of.

I'm a Christian with pagan tendencies.....I don't believe because someone else prays to a god with a different name that it means they're wrong and destined for "hell" and that I or anyone else needs to win them over to my way of thinking.

You're really digging deep to drag out the the killing babies or eating your neighbor argument. While I might not agree with that line of thinking what gives me the right to say their culture is wrong and mine is right.
