You have to choose witch standard are you going to apply. French. USA. English. Those are the 3 recognised standard of the Marans Chooks in the world.
Example. Comb. The French standard. Does not specify how many point should be on the comd as long as they straight and free from the double point.
The USA standard they call for 5 point at the best well spaced and free free any double.

Usa , APA Standard of Perfection 44th Edition. Which states the comb have five points and blade not touching the, either, head or neck. (I just looked at it and forgot )
