JUDGE RULES ROSWELL'S " CHICKEN OUTLAW" GETS TO KEEP BIRDS

On Dec. 14, 2009, the New City of Roswell Anti Chicken Amendment was voted into law after our City Councilman Rich Dippilito of Concordia Properties LLC lied to us and stabbed us in the back and then twisted the knife. We had a 90 day period to comply with the new law and on March 14 the Anti Chicken ordinance took effect. They immediately notified every citizen who came to meetings that they intended to inspect their yards and coops. If the city didn't have their address, they emailed them from a sign in sheets given at all public meetings.

Talk about BIG BROTHER WATCHING YOU, this reeks worse than week old DEAD FISH which is much worse than chicken poop but not as bad as Billy Goat Pee!!.

The City of Roswell Code Enforcement now has the City Police involved so now I have been formally charged with a criminal charge of violating a City Ordinance and there is the possibility I could be found guilty and jailed for up to six months! I was just in court last week but more about that in a minute.

Let's see, the City of Roswell has now spent 16 months and over $100,000 trying to run my 40 chickens (that no one has complained about) out of town, I hired our Former Govenor to represent me, I have been been to court, won in court, tried to help them write a new chicken friendly amendment, been lied to stabbed in the back, thrown in jail and I guess what? I STILL HAVE MY CHICKENS and they need to sit on cushions when they sit down because it hurts! HEHEHE

So now I am a Ga State Registered Lobbyist and I will make sure that The Great State of GA which produces more chicken than any other state protects our rights to raise chickens.

HECK, Even our Mayor has a prize winning rooster that is going to be a National Champion but the mayor had to follow the ordinance and get rid of him so I brought him back home.

On April 22, we entered a plea of NOT GUILTY and my trial date is some time in July so we are preparing for a long 3 day trial over chickens. I intend to fight this for however long and however far I have to go and next year I have been assured that GA House of Representatives will pass HOUSE BILL 842 (GA RIGHT TO GROW ACT aka THE CHICKEN COOP BILL) and the State Law will protect me and my chickens from my socialist thinking City Council. I guess they have been drinking the Koolaid except for CITY COUNCILPERSON DR. BETTY PRICE who is our newest and smartest city council member. Just her winning her position, raised the Median IQ level of our City Council about 20 or 30 points. YOU ROCK DR. PRICE!!

Just remember, It ain't over til the fat lady sings, and I ain't heard no music yet!

YOU HEARD IT HERE ON BACKYARD CHICKENS FIRST!!

AS ALWAYS!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA, LITTLE PIGGIES AND ROOSTERS!!

Just for poops and giggles Andrew, does Roswell have a recall provision in their charter?

If so and you have a good number of supporters you might be able to have a bit of fun with your friendly backstabbing councilor and friends.

It took less than 24 hours to serve notice on 5 council members a couple of towns away several years ago.

A successful stage one petition drive was all it took.

If you are keeping your property clean, there's no flies or stink or noise and the neighbors aren't complaining, what's the problem? I mean, other than Roswell city council is a bunch of busybody control-freak city boys/girls?

Sheesh, last time I checked, Ga. is still an agricultural state.
Too many big-city people getting airs about them, is the problem.

It's a hoot that you have the mayor's rooster.
