Judging question about type

Just wanted to clarify that British "true type" was not accepted here in the US. I don't think you noted that.

I notice that. And especially lately we're getting more English type Orpingtons come around. . . Makes me wonder if they'll just be a hobby on the side or actually influence the SOP for Orpingtons.

Since I am the Chairman of the APA Standard Revision Committee, I can safely say that British version of the Orps will never be called Orpingtons in my lifetime. We already have some Orps that are a bit too fuzzy in the thighs, but nothing close to that look. They could be admitted as another breed though.
