Just for funzies, here are my teens, questioning all of our life choices with their mean-girl looks

They are really cute. Do they let you hold them? I raised some quail from hatching and screwed up by not holding them enough. Most of my girls will without hesitation eat out of my hand. Depending on their mood they will also let my pet them. But if I dare hold them (other than maybe one) they will freak out. Thx,

We didn’t hold these enough either so they’re skeptical of us, but not scared. Mostly when I hold them they want to fly because OF COURSE the best thing to do as a raccoon-sized chicken dinner is to try to survive outside the pen, right?!

This is the extent to which I can hold them (and only as necessary, they start fussing after a minute or so)… note here that the RBF stone gaze continues, even as I hold her entire life in my hands

You bring up a good point. I'll have to figure out how to spend time with each baby daily. Maybe need one of those cat sweaters.
