Juice cleanse

My pulp gets split three ways, worms, rabbits and chickens.  Chickens get fed last.  They used to turn their spoiled little beaks up at it until they saw me giving it to the rabbits, who love it.  Now the chickens eat it up.  They are such funny little critters. I tried making crackers with the pulp but, they were awful.  In the winter I add it to soup.

We don't juice for weight issues. We started doing it when our mother became ill. We keep the pulp for cooking, stews, baking, things like that, but we tend to keep kyro green and other supplements around too. It helps with some of her symptoms and her medicine side affects that cause leeching of her bones, muscle wasting, and weight loss. You have to be careful though, when you drink a lot of fruit juice, you're getting the sugars of the fruit but not the fiber that slows the absorption, so we tend to just juice greens.

Mom loves my home made V8 juice. she sometimes heat it up a little and eat it like tomato soup.
