Oh, BamaChicken, I was wrong about what I got from the eggs you sent. I have 8 Rhode Island Reds and 0 Buff Orpingtons. For some reason, none of the extras, the Buff Orps nor the one from your Splash pen, hatched. Isnt that weird that they divided by breed lines like that? The one that I thought was a Buff Orp was one that you had not marked and you said that if it was not marked, it was a Buff Orp and not a RIR....nope! It was a RIR! Not a problem, but I kept looking at that baby, saying, You are too red to be a Buff Orpington, child! And the wing feathers are coming in with patterns in them-surprise! Another RIR.
Jody, all 9 of your remaining Buff Orpingtons need to hatch for me! I'm just entering Day 20 on those now! [IMG]

Well if you decide to hatch some more I can send more Buffs. Glad your DH got some RIR's though

I am, too! They are so beautiful and fiesty, LOL. I kept looking at that little one and thinking it was just too red to be a Buff Orp, but no worries! I'm waiting on Jody's to hatch; Day 20 has started, so should be soon. If God forbid, they don't hatch well, and I really dont anticipate that, but anyway, if they don't, I might just have to keep that bator out a little while longer for your Buff Orps.
